Netanyahu’s Ten-Finger Salute Captivates the World as Iran Announces Kill Mission

When death rumors about him flooded social media, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s response was to walk into a café, order a coffee, and film the whole thing for his X followers. The resulting video became one of the most-shared political clips of the week, drawing attention for its confident blend of humor, personal warmth, and understated defiance. It was Netanyahu at his most relaxed and his most politically deliberate.
Playing on a Hebrew expression, he joked that he was dead only for one thing — coffee. He then turned to the Israeli public with genuine emotion, praising their collective courage and crediting their support with fueling the work of his government, the military, and Israel’s intelligence agencies. It was a reminder that, for all the international dimensions of the conflict, Netanyahu remained closely attuned to civilian morale at home.
A segment of the video addressed the viral AI conspiracy that had sprung from a press conference clip showing him with what appeared to be an extra finger. Netanyahu extended both hands toward the camera and counted each finger slowly, treating the theory with amused but effective rebuttal. The clip replayed across news channels and social media feeds globally.
He confirmed that Israeli forces were conducting significant operations in both Iran and Lebanon at the time of filming. He declined to share any information that could jeopardize the missions but expressed evident confidence in their impact. He also stressed the importance of civil defense compliance, reminding Israelis that proximity to protected areas was essential.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps delivered a formal and public counter-message through state media, pledging to locate and kill Netanyahu. The threat was delivered using hostile language and characterized as a military commitment rather than idle rhetoric. The IRGC’s open declaration stood in sharp contrast to the composed and cheerful image Netanyahu had projected from the coffee shop just hours earlier.
